Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Peaches and Cream

Juicy peaches and soft creams...yum! I know it's winter and peaches are long gone (so sad!), but I do love the combination of a soft citrus infused color palette with touches of muted creams any time of the year - And it would be oh-so-pretty set against freshly fallen snow!

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Back to Black

Black is classic in all the ways a wedding wants it to be - it's neutral, complementary on the bodice, and lets all the other colors shine. And speaking of shining....have you seen those shoes?! I think they may just be the cutest, lovable, and most sexy stilettos I have seen in ages!

Tahoe Unveiled's Weekly Fave!

This week on our sister site, Tahoe Unveiled, we had the privilege of viewing  super special moments right before a couple walks down the aisle. This has come to be known as "the first look." This ultra-special moment is so beautiful for a number of reasons - it's the first time the soon to be newlyweds see each other before they stroll down the aisle to become husband and wife, it's super private and usually only includes the two of them (and of course your wedding photographer to capture the moment!) and it's a great way to get all of the nervousness out of the way so that you can really concentrate on your vows! Take a peek below for some beautiful "first look" moments!

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Soft Sage

I love sage -  the plant itself is soft & furry, and the color is the perfect blend of green and grey. Soft sage is such a beautiful color and blends perfectly with almost everything for an outdoor (or indoor for that matter!), affair.

Tahoe Unveiled's Weekly Fave!

".....be sure to wear some flowers in your hair..."

Our favorite post this week from our sister site, Tahoe Unveiled, was full of beautiful flowers. And Scott Mckenzie may have said it best! I think for my wedding I will most definitely be donning a few floral petals in my coif. This elegant and totally natural approach to a wedding hair style conveys everything Tahoe is known for - the outdoors, a laid back lifestyle and the beauty of being surrounded by nature.

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Sweet as Honey

It's meant to Bee! I love this inspirational idea - you could incorporate butter yellow flowers, mini honey dippers for place cards, and delicious little honey jars for favors!

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Orchard Amor

I stumbled upon this gorgeous orchard inspiration and fell in love! I think a beautiful ceremony amongst apple or citrus trees might just be one of the most romantic settings ever. It's full of color, shade, and best of all you can make dessert out of your surroundings - does it get any more convenient?!

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Sparkle

So....the holidays are approaching us, and it always gives me a mix of anxiety and elation. I'm super excited about holiday parties & the encouragement of drinking just a little too much and having a great time, but it's also mixed with the anxiety of making sure you remember to give thoughtful holiday gifts! One thing I will never tire of, however, is the ability to bring out *sparkle*! Holidays are for sprucing up your wardrobe, breaking out the glitter and pizzazz and having fun!!

Tahoe Unveiled's Weekly Juice!

This week on our sister site, Tahoe Unveiled, we uncovered a few wonderful ways cinnamon can be swirled into decor, we made the bestest of friends with diamonds, and last but certainly not least, we were encouraged to eat lots of delicious candy for Halloween - which, I for one, did not need much encouragement to begin with!

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Gold Accents

Gold is one of those colors that evokes feelings of luxury, glamour and style, especially when weddings are involved. And total side-note: I have a major crush on gold jewelry - I think it really warms up everyone's skin tone and is a great accent for complimenting pretty much anything! Adding in pops of this beautiful metal is sure to enhance any color palette.

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Woven Wonders

Baskets are a great decor piece to have for so many reasons - they can be used to hold virtually anything and everything while looking super cute at the same time! Whether made out of wire, wood, or even moss(!), these little beauties can be used to hold everything from silverware to parasols, but I especially like them as a vessel for flowers. alskdjf

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Cozy Comforts

Fall is officially here! The Aspens are turning their gorgeous colors and I just put the heavy down comforter on my bed - I'm ready! Fall is all about the cozy creature comforts: a hot cup of cocoa, a warm jacket, a snuggly blanket....and toasty fires with marshmallows of course. If you decide to have Fall nuptials, be sure to bring the cozy into your decor by having warm drinks, pashminas to wrap around those chilly shoulders, and maybe even a smore's bar -  your guests will thank you for it! a;lskdjf

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Little Wedding Cakes

Little Cakes.....how cute are they?! I think they are the perfect alternative to the super trendy cupcake, and a nice transition from the traditional wedding cake. It's a perfect blend of both worlds - you still get the cuteness & variety of the cupcake while maintaing the traditional and classic part of a wedding cake.

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Pearls

These are not your Grandma's pearls! Pearls are back in a big way, and for good reason. They are simple yet gorgeous, classic yet charming. Try incorporating pearls in a different way - either through your shoes, earrings, a beautiful clutch, or woven into your decor.

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Beautiful Bordeaux

Bordeaux is just one of those colors.....it's rich, sexy, and bold. It also happens to be very complimentary of most ,if not all skintones. And last but not least, it's the total "it" color for Fall, so make sure to add pops of it in your decor!

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | French Fabulousness

There is a certain  je ne sais quoi  about the French culture that I absolutely adore. They know how to cook, they know how to relax, and they create things that have a certain sensuality about them without being overly risque or crude. Today's inspiration is reminiscent of Marie Antoinette - and no party of Marie's would be complete without the most over-the-top dessert bar! So whether you are going for a soft, sensual, or just plain pretty look for your wedding, try weaving in a few French influences and you're sure to create a soft & sweet atomosphere. And don't forget to have lots of forks on hand so you can "let them eat cake!"

Lake Tahoe Wedding Inspiration | Fall Beauty

As Fall approaches and the Aspens start turning those gorgeous yellow and burnt amber colors, I can't help but get excited for all the beauty that Fall brings with it. I love going for runs in the woods and feeling the cool breeze on my skin and snuggling up to a warm fire with a hot cup of cocoa afterwards. I also adore Fall weddings and everything you can do with the decor - from pumpkin dessert bars, to apples galore, a Fall wedding is a beautiful delight for the eyes (and belly!)
